Kit Hammond
Karen and I were married 1/6/96. Karen is from Chattanooga and managed hotels prior to our marriage. We have four children (Liz 45, Sandy 38, Chris 35 and Sean 31), eight grandchildren (Kit 16, Sandy 14, Trey 13, Hattie 10, Keene 6, Oleg 6, Champ 2, and John Henry 1) and two dogs (Angus and Doolittle), which make for a wild time when we're all together.
I am President of Great Dane Trailers. During our years at Auburn, Great Dane's only plant was in Savannah. Over the years we have built or acquired plants in Memphis, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, Nebraska and Arkansas and are capable of producing 70,000 trailers/year.
We live in Savannah and keep a home in the north Georgia mountains.
